They've actually been showing some commercials on television about this. I highly doubt it'll make it to the big screen in this area, though. Ah, well. There's always Netflix.
I certainly hope they show it here in NC. I told my hubby that I'm sure The Passion of the Christ was playing at every single theater back then. I hope it goes both ways...

Good luck. I remember them showing Passion of the Christ here, too... but they refused to show The Golden Compass. So I'm not holding my breath on Religulous.

Comparing this movie to the Passion of the Christ is a bit of a stretch, don't ya think?
Compare it to this one, it's the reason Bill made his:
No, not that I know of. Maybe I go too far in that comment.
It just seems to me that this film and Mahre himself seems to line up more with a counter to the Stein movie than the Passion of the Christ.
Would you agree?
As far as his reasoning goes, I believe it's because he despises religion and considers it dangerous and silly.
Well honestly any movie that used reason would counter Steins movie so I guess in a round about way it counters Steins movie?
I think the other poster was simply implying that in largely Christian areas (i.e. deep south, the town I grew up in etc) that the probability of religulous playing there is slim to none.

I'm in the deep south and couldn't find Expelled either. So....

And your point is...?
I'm truly asking because it seems that you might be making the argument that no theatre in South would show The Passion and then not show Religulous.
Is that your argument?
