Yep,... read the story of Bell, Ca. Was once a middle class working folks, industry driven town. In the '70's more folks began to move into newly designed suburbs further out. Bells population began to get older, less people attended city council meetings, fewer people voted,.. stores & businesses began closing shop & wallah!~!-- the illegal immigrant population saw the town as an easy place to set up shop! That was when corruption took a grasp around the neck of Bell,... cos' no-one really cared anymore & few were paying attention!
Yes sirree! You can see the similarities how corruption takes hold-it happens when apathy sets in.
Taking everything literally, dollar for dollar,... is meaningless in trying to make youe point,Watson. I ask you,... just where has the $43 million in 2005 SPLOST money go?
Why are our city streets crumbeling, yet the city can purchase apartment after apartment complex??? You do understand, somewhere in those apartment deals,... somebodys getting a big payday!
I don't pay MY city taxes, so contractors, bankers & senators can get rich!
Corruption comes in many layers of deception. Smyrna citizens,... how much longer can you sit back & watch your city leveled to the ground?
