It's all trial and error, but you CAN find decent pizza in GA. There are lots of "NY Style" places. You just have to try them one at a time until you find the pie you like.

I do not know of any authentic Pizza places in Suwanee, but there are many throughout the metro area (listed in order in my opinion):

1. Antico Pizza (probably the best pizza in Atlanta): Antico Pizza - Pizza Tradizionale di Napoli - The Crossroads

2. Mellow Mushroom Pizza (Started in Atlanta and is very good): Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers - Emory

3. Fellini's Pizza (Good pizza): Fellini's Pizza & La Fonda Latina Restaurants

4. Slice (Good pizza): Slice Atlanta – The City’s Best Neighborhood Pizza and Nightlife

5. Nancy's Pizza (Chicago Style Pizza): http://www.nancyspizza.com/index.asp

6. Ray's New York Pizza: Ray's New York Pizza in Atlanta, Georgia

Absolutely.

Romeo's Pizza in Johns Creek. It's off of Medlock Bridge Road, next door to the Regal Cinemas.

We get it every time.

I have found that I really enjoy Costco's pizza.

That said, I think Rays is the only that I know that totes being a descendant of NYC.

Not quite Suwanee but over on Old Milton in Alpharetta is a good place called Mama's. One of the better pizzas I've had in GA.
