As you may know, it's more expensive to rent a car from the airport than it would be to rent one from a regular location. I will be flying into Atlanta next month and I was wondering if anyone knows of a free/cheap shuttle that goes from the airport to somewhere close to a rental car pick up that's not located at the airport. Los Angeles has one that takes people to union station. Is there something similar in Atlanta?

Marta the Atlanta (SubWay) system. will take you away from the airport for $2/ow + $1 for re-usable pass. You can check some of the station/hotel near them for rentals.

I usually rent cars through bidding on Priceline and have gotten some very good deals.

Priceline is good, but does not get you any deal on the taxes & fees. They can add up to more then the car rental cost at the airport.
