I have never heard of that place before. I depend on the train to get to my working place so I was thinking of walking to and fro the midtown train station to get to work.

The question is how safe is this place now? My work usually finished at 12.30am and is it safe to be walking from midtown station back to the property at that hour?

thanks!

Where is it exactly?

I wouldn't be thrilled to go tromping a good distance down 10th Street at midnight every night. You have to go through Home Park to get there, where there have been a number of armed robberies reported. It's far worse than just walking through the streets on Midtown at that time, I'm afraid.

You would not be able to walk from the midtown station to this location IMO. I live near the area and really it is not in Midtown. It is on the Westside and is an area that is being renamed or revamped in order to attract more people to it.

There is a lot of new develpment in the area but it is not easily MARTA accessible, no train station, so you would have to take the bus.

That is a pretty large area though. I know there are a lot of apartments on Howell Mill over there and even one near Kings Plow near the corner of Marietta and Lowery Blvd. There is also a kind of loft/student apartment place over there and a lot of new condos/apartments that were recently built. It is also near the water works department and the Beltline plan includes a park over there larger than Piedmont Park, which would make it the largest greenspace in Atlanta if it is ever built.
