Hi Everyone!
Are there any Polish communities in Atlanta or near Atlanta. Also polish churches or stores?

Hi Justyna. I have just arrived to Georgia about month ago.
There are Poles in Atlanta, I know some people.
I am looking for new people to meet.
I can't tell you an exact information since I am newcomer, however I know
there is a polish church not far away from the place where I am currently living Norcross (suburbs of Atlanta) and I know a guy who is going to open polish restaurant serving polish cousine.

Kind regards,
Daniel

You need to remember that Atlanta is not a large city like New York or L.A. or San Francisco - we do not have designated neighborhoods where certain ethinc groups of people tend to live together.. everyone is just kind of spread out.

The Chamblee and Doraville areas tend to have quite a few Asians and Hispanics, but there are Greeks, Polish, and everything else living in the Atlanta area - just spread out and not in any one specific area for each group.

This is the reason you will sometimes hear some people describe Atlanta as not really having much "charactor", because everyone is just splattered out all over the place here... it's just a large city with lots of people and cars.
