I like it. That street needs to be upgraded, repaved, anything.

I like that there will be a median near Esther Peachey Lefevre Park. People drive too fast through there and that might hep slow them down.

Vine City Park to expand after building demolition - Atlanta INtown Paper

On Monday, July 29, (that's today!) an abandoned apartment complex will be demolished to make way for an expansion of Vine City Park, just west of Downtown.

Wtf happened to that Mim's Park that was supposed to happen? Another dead project? That park had potential from the video rendering.

I'm excited for that one too and I agree it has a lot of potential.

They cleaned up some of the property earlier this year. I think we'll hear more after the Falcons stadium ordeal settles. My guess is that some of the money Blank is "giving" will go towards the park or at least that it will happen in conjunction with other improvements.

It would be nice to hear something about it.

The Mims family has been great to Atlanta over the past century, from helping to create the viaducts, to the founding of Capital City and the Driving Club, all the way down to the Millenium Arch at AS.

Once they start something it usually gets done.
