If you're looking in the Powder Springs area, look around in the attendance zone for the highly-rated and highly-regarded Hillgrove High School.

The historic McEachern High School, which is the other public high school attendance zone in the Powder Springs area is also a good high school that gets much community support because of its historic status.

The only problem with the McEachern attendance zone is that the schools can be kind of rowdy at times because of the much-larger population of transient students and families in the McEachern attendance zone than in the Hillgrove attendance zone.

If you are looking in the Marietta area, you will have many more school options to choose from because Marietta encompasses a much-larger land area than Powder Springs.

In the Marietta area you should look around in the attendance zones for Harrison, Walton, Pope, Lassiter, Wheeler and Sprayberry high schools.

If you like a slightly more urban vibe, you could also look around inside the City of Marietta in the attendance zone for Marietta High School and the independent Marietta City Schools system.

The independent Marietta City Schools system is generally a high-quality school system, it's just that like the McEachern attendance zone in Powder Springs, the attendance zone for Marietta High School and the Marietta City Schools system has a very-high population of transient students and families that affects the academic outcomes of the system.
