atl1221, I imagine they will want a better plan next time. The weather is so unpredictable lately though. We've had alot of bush fires and flooding here in Australia.

I am also looking at renting an apartment at Amli Milton Park……..it looks great from the pictures on their website. Can anyone tell me if this is in a good area and if they have ever been inside the complex? I like the fact that it seems to be by lots of companies (possible employers?) and not far from Northpoint mall. :-)

My friend just rented a lovely condo in The Orchards in Roswell, ranch style , great location.

I live less than a mile from there. I have never been inside the complex but that is a good location. The apartments have easy access the Greenway which is a great place for walking and biking.

Yeah, they are very pretty from the outside. I've had a couple of attempted breakins in the past so I'm trying to find someplace nice and safe for myself and my son in the Webb Bridge Middle School district. I like the fact that it is a nice walk to Northpoint and by the Greenway. My son Nic is going to love the pool. I don't like the fact that is has outside parking with no garages…I'm a bit leery of parking at night and walking to an apartment.

I wouldn't be too concerned over personal safety or violence in the parking lot. However the public parking areas along the Greenway are known to have a problem with vehicle break-ins. I frequent the Greenway and have never had a problem. Just make sure you don't leave anything of value in the car.

Generally, the Orchards are usually populated by older people and not people with kids.

True, but there's quite a lot of renters there too, I think the rents are quite high though from what I hear, around $1,500 a month for a spacious three bedroom.
