The article (snippet below) also clarifies when Ponce City Market will be opening. There will be some retail/restaurant openings in late 2014, but the "robust experience" (Jamestown COO's words) will really kick into gear in Spring 2015.

From the Atlanta Magazine article:
Ponce City Market has announced the first batch of vendors set to open in its Central Food Hall. Dub’s Fish Camp (Anne Quatrano), H&F Burger (Linton Hopkins), Jia, Honeysuckle Gelato, and Simply Seoul Kitchen (Hannah Chung and Grace Lee) will open in one of the largest brick structures in the Southeast. Openings will be staggered: Dub’s, H&F, Honeysuckle, and Simply Seoul are aiming for spring 2015 and Jia is aiming for winter 2014. - See more at: Ponce City Market announces its first restaurants - Covered Dish Blog - Atlanta Magazine

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to this. Refurbishing that historic building is a monumental task, and Jamestown has become one of my favorite companies for making this huge investment in Atlanta.

As long as there's no fast food, it's okay.

Very exciting, thanks for posting. I really like the carnival food and feeling they are creating for the rooftop. I think that's a really great idea that the city of Atlanta is missing - most permanent activities like that are OTP. I had read somewhere that the mini-golf was going to be for residents only - does anybody know if this is true? I hope not!

Sounds great, although they seem to be catering to a pretty upscale market.
