Thank you. Would a New Yorker fit in?

Most of the suburbs are transplants, so yeah, I would say a New Yorker wouldn't have much problem fitting in. Some people will have you believe that native Georgian's are upset about transplants, and this is probably true in rural areas. But in the suburbs you shouldn't have much problem.

I'd just appeal to New Yorkers to please leave the they live in Harlem and we live in Westchester attitudes in back in New York. There's enough of that here, and it's high time it changed.

I have a question? Is Rowsell a good place for retirement? My husband and I are looking into the area

Default New Yawk accents

More New Yawk accents here than you would think.

Don't plan on running for a state-wide political office, though. A southern accent is one of the qualifications for being a Georgia governor or senator.

A highly-qualified, honest, truthful candidate, with a New Yawk accent, is not governor material.

A highly-unqualified, dishonest, lying candidate, with a southern accent, is governor material. Every time!

I'm sure many Southerners vote for the candidate with the deepest twang.

MORE TWANG FOR YOUR BUCK.

Roswell is a very good area to be in. A new yorker will like it and there are some great deals there. The traffic is heavy there. As for those wanting to reite there, some areas in roswell are more peaceful but still offer good amenities such as golf, tennis etc. I am currently showing a client homes there and he is about 3 years from retiring.
