Well, I am out of the loop. I wouldn't have associated items like headphones, sweatpants, oversize purses, backpacks, tank tops and weapons as characteristic of the demographic you mention.

I'm all for dress codes in fine establishments BUT since you wanna be uber classy now Fix the stairs so I don't ruin my expensive pumps; tell Leteisha to stop showing her breast between drinks, bartenders should be presentable and not look like they just rolled out of bed, AND close off that kitchen so I don't have to see or smell the food stench (which permeates my clothes) when I go up or down the aforementioned raggedy stairs.

Just go visit Blake's. White gay men aren't sagging pants are wearing medallions around there neck . They aren't wear atheletic wear. Those were the things black gay men were wearing. On Sunday's all of the black gay kids hangout out in Piedmont park. Afterwards they would go to Blake's or Joes on Juniper. Some of the would have backpacks and headphones.

Blake's was overrated. Watered down drinks. Drag shows were a hot ghetto mess. The urine smells from the unkept bathrooms. The music was always the same like someone popped in a CD and it played over and over..
