There's tons of big box retail in Acworth/Kennesaw... check along Cobb Pkwy and Barret Pkwy. I don't know how hard it is to find a job there but there certainly is supply. There's also a lot of warehouses in Kennesaw around the chastain rd area.... I don't know exactly what you mean by general labor but that might fit the bill.

Additionally, if you're going to be living in Acworth, it's more than reasonable to look for jobs in Kennesaw, Woodstock, Cartersville, Dallas and even Marietta or Powder Springs. Between all those areas, your search will open up a lot more.

I meant more along the lines of retail and warehouse work compared to white collar work. I was a machinist for 15 years but I don't want to do that any longer. I'm looking more towards shipping & receiving in a warehouse or QC in a business, etc...

I dont think you will have any problems as all, like prior posters said there is a ton of retail in Kennesaw which is 5-10 mins from acworth and the retail is only growing as the University there is. UPS and FEDEX also have some pretty large warehouses in that area.
