Here are some nice photos I found of the Historic Ansley Park neighborhood of Atlanta(North Midtown). These are curtesy of UncleRando@photobucket.com. As promised I hope to have more photos of Atlantas neighborhoods (hopefully of my own). Hope these give you (especially prospective newcomers) an idea of what the area is all about.

Smile Good idea for a sticky...

Thanks, galounger! I find it very helpful when other cities have photos posted as a forum sticky. It's a tremendous help for those of us searching to have a visual reference until we can actually visit. Hope you and others continue to post photos of the various areas. Atlanta has so many lovely areas with nice homes, naturally beautiful terrain and topography.

I like the homes down there. Every time I see a "for sale" sign and get my hopes up though, I keep hearing that old song Eddie Murphy used to sing... "You can't afforrrrrrrrrd it - you can't afforrrrrrrrd it!".

Great photos!!!! Actually, Ansley Park is one of my hangouts. You should also take some pics of the beautiful parks and winding streets. But then again, maybe you shouldn't. Then, everyone will come and the area will be ruined.

Thanks. I hope to get some more photos soon. The most breathtaking photos of Atlanta ofcourse can be found in the springtime but I'm too impatient to wait till then. In the meantime I think there's still some nice neighborhoods to capture whenever I get the time.

One of the most beautiful urban residential neighborhoods in the country, bar none. This is definately lotto-winning country for me.

Just a FYI to whoever took the original photos - they may wish to check the "white balance" setting on their camera. Most of those pics have a slight greenish/yellow tint to them. Somewhere in the digital camera menu is a setting for "white balance" and I'll bet they don't have it set to "auto", which is causing this.

Great home shots - just pointing that out.
