Where? I looked when I was at North Avenue and asked a Marta employee and she said there was no taxi stand.

That would be obvious but when I was walking around trying to find one I didn’t see one. I asked a Marta employee where the taxi stand was and she said there was not one.

Not sure there should be taxi stand/kiss and rides at stations in the core of the city. There are plenty of side streets with parking spaces around North Ave that won't block traffic.

I wasn't saying there SHOULD be a taxi stand. Other people were saying there IS a taxi stand there which there isn't.

All I was saying was

If there is not a marked/designated spot then people don't know where to go as a meeting point. Especially visitors. It would be nice for them if there was a "Rideshare Pickup" wayfinding sign in the station.

Ride hailing services stop in traffic lanes, bike lanes, crosswalks, basically wherever they want with no threat of tickets.

So then let's provide some pull off places where they don't have to block anyone!

Some people might mistakenly think that includes commercial ride-hailing outfits like Uber and Lyft.

In my opinion, these for-profit operations should pay their own freight, including paying for a non-obstructionist pickup/delivery location. With a capital value of $50-70 billion, it wouldn't kill Uber to toss a few shekels at improving public transportation in this area.

The only places I could see this being an issue is at Peachtree Center and Five Points, most other MARTA stations already have spots they could use for this.
