On 16 August 2016, I too had a bad first time experience at Atlanta Airport (6000N) Terminal Pkwy curbside....
I could see in my side view mirror the officer waving her hand move forward, so I move forward and stopped to ask a question and the officer (2429) started writing me a ticket. I told her this was my first time at the airport and I tried to ask a question and she stated you OLD PEOPLE need to learn how too read. Her behavior was offensive, unprofessional, unacceptable, rude and bullying. She definitely need to attend a EO (Equal Opportunity) course and are be fired.

Yeah the few times I have picked someone up from the airport I have experienced how rude and power-tripping those officers are. Within about 5 seconds of stopping they are blowing their whistles in your ear and yelling at you to move.

A suggestion for future trips to the airport: wait in the cell phone lot until the person you're picking up calls you. Each entrance has a letter and number, like N1, N2, etc. Have them tell you which entrance they're standing in front of, then you pick them up without having to wait at the curb, and you'll never have to worry about getting a ticket.
