Not just rock acts.

Taylor Swift (I know, I know...) is skipping over my home state of NC, including SC and VA. The closest two venues are in DC and ATL. I think big name acts are fine tuning their itinerary to include only stadiums above a certain size (30,000+?). Tour sponsors and record companies want only the highest margin deals now, and you've got other artists, still multi-platinum, playing gigs in front of 1,000-2,000.

It amazes me.

Korn and Prophets of Rage also skipped over Atlanta recently. Southern rock bands always come thru but not others

I managed to get Nine Inch Nails/Jesus & Mary Chain tickets at the Fox in September! It's gonna be awesome. NIN have never played the Fox.

The ticket line was like a block party. (There was no online sales for these 2 shows- physical only.)

Got my tickets, as well!

A friend of mine is flying up to Chicago to see Depeche Mode tomorrow night. Yes another band that skipped Atlanta.
