Uh, 334 pages and counting? So where will you move? NYC, Northern Virginia or maybe Nashville?

Sometimes you just lose. You have to accept that. There were also 18 other places that didn’t get it.

Not to mention Nashville-Davidson County is a Blue/Diverse City regardless if Tennessee is a majority red state like Georgia is.

In all fairness though, while not quite to north of I-20 levels, Henry County's also getting pretty bad lately.

As far as housing prices, there was a user on here recently who complained about housing in "desirable" parts of Atlanta (code for north of I-20) being expensive and comparable to Metro DC, and there were others who agreed with them.
You don't know LA.

I would have rather got the 5000 jobs that Nashville got instead of the 25k jobs

Housing prices are is STILL nowhere near the cost in California

You picked a couple of counties but overall smog is nowhere near as bad as it is in LA.
In fact Atlanta ranks 23rd behind DC and LA which is rank number one as the worst metro for Air Quality
https://www.lung.org/our-initiatives...ed-cities.html
And there are many desirable areas that are still way more affordable than ANYTHING surrounding DC.

And yet... Nashville's big push for transit expansion was destroyed handily at the polls while Atlanta's passed easily...
