No but it's almost like a borough in essence. It's actually classified as an edge city.

Disagree with good location. It's far from the interstate (20, 285 and 85).

If you never leave Gwinnett, its perfect but if you do, it is a pretty bad location overall.

Good if you work in one of the following job centers:

Northlake
Emory
Gwinnett Place/Sugarloaf
I-85 in Gwinnett Corridor
Norcross/Peachtree Corners

*also allows good access to Athens/UGA.

I'll give you the first two options. The last 3 options seem to be 35-50 minutes away.

I guess, it depends on what you consider Snellville as well.

Well, for commuting--and for suburban living--under 45 minutes is good.

And I would consider Gwinnett Place/Sugarloaf one of the best options from Snellville.

That may have been the case 25 year ago, although the definition of "edge city" has always been somewhat amorphous. Buckhead has long been just part of the city. It has never had independent governance, cultural or economic status.
