The new Morrow is going to be a really nice school. Forest Park renos are nice. Drew High is absolutely a behemoth, Riverdale got some really nice renos and looks almost totally different.

I graduated from Mount Zion in '07, we got a second floor built on one of the halls. I know the school is young and smaller compared to most of ClayCo but I can't wait for my school to be renovated fully.
How’s the performing arts center holding up? I remember when that thing was built 30 years ago there was nothing else like it in Metro Atlanta.

I run the Peachtree City trails daily and drive next to the Tyrone trails daily headed to the job. Trust me when I tell you they are multi-use. Far more foot traffic than golf cart traffic. I do wish Tyrone would extend the south end of the trail on Senoia Road one block/subdivision so that it would connect directly to Peachtree City.

They should connect them all eventually. Its been since ive been to those trails it seemed like in some parts it was just not a lot of people. Im talking about the ones in Peachtree city that runs through the neighborhoods. They didnt look multiuse but like I said its over 10 years.
They should connect them to Senoia. With its cool downtown,it would be a welcome amenity

Are you referring to the magnificent Spivey Hall facility that is on the Clayton State University campus or a performing arts hall in a specific high school, newsboy?

As for Spivey, it's acoustics are still largely considered to be the best in metro Atlanta in terms of performing arts venues & it maintains a very busy, and diverse schedule of activities, including major outreach to school age children, university students as well as senior citizens.
Spivey remains one of the true jewels in the crown of metro Atlanta's cultural assets!

Maybe he is talking about the Clayton Performing Arts Center across from Mt. Zion High School.. Totally separate from Spivey but maybe not since he said there was nothing like it. Spivey Hall is very nice. I had a friend last year from Japan living in Atlanta who had a friend who was visiting from Japan playing there. She is a violinist and she raved about it.

Performers & audiences have been raving about Spivey Hall on the Clayton State University campus since it opened & numerous concerts recorded there have been featured in radio broadcasts.
Spivey Hall opened in 1991 so I thought that might fit the criteria of Newsboy's "..30 years ago.." comment. But, we'll need to hear from him to know for sure.

As for the Clayton Performing Arts Center you mentioned, it is a great facility that comes in for a wide range of uses but it's auditorium design and acoustics were not intended to be top-of-the-line for concerts as are those of Spivey. Nevertheless, it's a welcome addition to the Clayton County and south metro arts scene and was a bit of wise forward thinking by the county when it's construction was funded.
