Well go up to Raleigh and persuade them because I haven't been successful.

Raleigh is full of sagging wire-hung signals, very sloppy looking for a nationally talked-about nice place to live.

They have a small amount of them at the core, but don't not consider them to be a priority at all.

And you'd think they would seeing as how Cary and Raleigh blend into one another and Cary uses the California-arc style poles almost exclusively across the town of 170,000 people.

The contrast of Cary's intersections to Rakeigh's sloppy mess is stark.

I take some photos of the new signals soon.

Many states that use the masts for signals do so because of wind or ice. In Georgia it doesnt really serve much more purpose other than style and elegance, same for Raleigh. But they do look alot less tacky.

Seems like when a man is just trying to get a sausage biscuit and a cup of Joe and there is no other traffic on the road whatsoever that a law enforcement officer could exercise some discretion.

Especially when people can't even see the "do not cross median" sign.
