I miss The Angel. What's Grange Pub going to be? Same idea?

I like the French roast at Trader Joes. Decent price as well. I only use it to make espressos at home (well, actually I make lattes). I've been happy with that stuff.

Try Java Vino. The coffee comes from the owner's family farm in Nicaragua and they roast it on site -- the roaster is sitting in the lobby of the coffee shop! It's pretty tasty stuff. Price-wise it's in line with most premium coffees, $11/lb.

Here at the office I purchased some Gevalia coffee and it was pretty enjoyable. They have a deal buy 2 coffees get a coffee maker for free, which was the main reason I tried them was for the free coffee maker which still works great (been a year now).

Gevalia Kaffe - Gourmet Coffees & Teas at Gevalia.com

Thank you! I haven't tried any of these brands at home yet. I have about 3 days worth of my current coffee so I'll be picking up one of your recommendations this weekend.

What kind of coffee do you like?

I buy from beancentral.com, personally. They have a good selection African and Indonesian coffees as well as the more common Central/South American. You can get a great deal if you buy 5 pound bags and spend over $50 (for free shipping).

I wouldn't buy that much coffee except as whole bean, however.

I like a dark coffee that isn't bitter... something smooth I guess. I'm not really a coffee connoisseur so I don't know what's a good bean, I just hate having to put extra sugar and cream in to dull down the taste!

Everyone where I work drinks Dunkin Donuts coffee. I'm sitting here looking at least at 3 cups of the stuff on desks. So I guess it must be good for coffee.

I don't drink coffee. It makes me burp and pee (usually not at the same time, though).

We make good coffee at home. Typically french or italian roasts from Whole Foods - excellent and fresh coffee.

There is a cafe Intermezza on Ashford Dunwoody road and they have a vast selection of coffees (and alcohols), and there is an item on the coffee menu called Turkish/Armenian coffee. I would highly recommend trying it, if you like "heavy-duty" coffee.
