I am currently living on the southside of atlanta and looking to move in the summer to a good school district for my child. Can you all assist me teliing about some of the good schools on the northern end around gwinnett and north fulton county? Please help, as I have been consumplating this move for awhile and I am now ready to make the move since my son will be entering the 1st grade on next year and just want to at least get him into one where there is a high-level of parental involvement, focused on education and not just on testing-taking skills and kids that are actually there to learn
A friend of mine has his daughter enroll at Medlock bridge elementary school (Northview high school districts) and he mentioned that parents at that school is very active. A lot of stay home moms there as well.
Another one I heard has strong PTA is Parson elementary (Peachtree Ridge high school) .
