Did anyone see an accident on 85N (just North of the airport) where a tire went through the windshield of a car? Would appreciate any comments from people who did or may have heard about it.

no, and I'm glad I wasn't there! My friend was driving back from Columbus a few weeks ago and a tire rolled across the road and barely missed her. I didn't realize this thing happened that often.

I wish I wasn't! I was driving the car that got hit. I was able to get to the side of the road but was trapped in the car and no one stopped to help. I was wondering if anyone had seen it b/c I would love to know their perspective on what happened (I saw it and remember it, but would appreciate witnesses!). I am home recovering now and am very thankful to still be alive.

Hope no one minds if I bump my own thread in hopes that someone who saw the accident may be reading now but not over the weekend. Thank you!
