Hi! I am curious what you guys settled on. My family and I are also looking for a great social place to live. We are renting now outside of Hamilton Mill and feel NO sense of community. Looking for friendly area open to newcomers! Just wanted to see if you had any luck! Thanks, Kim

What are you looking for? North, South, East, or West of Hamilton Mill. Depending upon what you are looking for there are plenty of community items to become involved in the Hamilton Mill area.
One must remember that the entire Atlanta area has a vast number of transplants. Much of OTP north is new or less than 10 years old. Communities are new and developing.

I am not aware of any limits on the number of animals you have but you must comply with not only local ordinances but HOA rules as well. The Hall County Animal Control states that your dog(s) must be brought inside your residence if it vocalizes (barks) continuously for more than 15 minutes. There may also be some health standards if you have too many animals. The Sterling on the Lake HOA states that you cannot have loose animals, you must have your dog on a leash and you must clean up after your pet when you have your pet outside of your own property. If you have a pet, it may be best if you had a fence.
