With Home Depot Expo gone, I find myself running around all over and coming up empty-handed. I was looking today for a new decorative mirror for a powder room, but will be buying other items for my remodeled (transitional/contemporary design) home. Today I hit: Tuesday Morning, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, BB&B, World Market, ZGallerie, and I forget where else. I am exhausted!! Suggestions??

Have you tried Garden Ridge? They have some decent mirrors and other items at fair prices.

Regards

m&mrossi-
Thanks-- Ran up to Garden Ridge -- they had a lot of mirrors, but only one that would really work inthe space, and it was damaged

George. Thanks for the links-- I'll check Homegoods, which is owned by TJ Maxx, I believe. I am not sure I've been to one. I have no artistic ability, so would probably make a total mess of any attempt to design my own!

Can you recommend any specific home decorating stores? Lowes online didnt have much (I need prefereably a round-- 26-30") and they had pretty traditional stuff. Help!! I am checking Bova's website now.

Ballard's Backroom has lots of stuff that may not be listed on their website. It is like a Tuesday Morning, they have what they have. There are lots of places on Chattahoochee so it might be fun to just wander around on a Saturday.

Have you tried furniture stores. They are a great place for accessories. Most people seem to forget about them except when it comes to furniture. Unfortunately their prices aren't discounted.

I do mix Expo. I did get my powder room mirror there when I remodeled. I hope when the economy recovers we can see more stores coming in and hopefully something similiar to Expo.
