That doesn't come without a price.

Example - everyone in Paulding has a septic tank (they have no sewage system in the whole county)... traffic along the main roads (hwy 278/92) is very VERY bad during rush hours... lots of unorganized sprawl/shopping centers going up all over. Some subdivisions report water and gas pressure issues due to so many new places going up around them so quickly. No public transit, etc etc.

Paulding is one of those places that in many areas is ok, but you have to look at what's happening now and then estimate where it's going to lead a few years from now, and decide if you want to be in the middle of it then or not.

Thanks for all the info we really wanted to be in East Cobb, but could not find a house we liked within our price range that did not need MAJOR work done to even move into it!
So we found a house we feel in love with in Kennesaw (West Cobb) off of Hadaway Rd the area seems really nice we are just a couple minuets from the Avenues etc..
I hope we won't regret it, since we did all our research on East Cobb but there is definitly more house for the money in West Cobb! WE are in the Harrison school district which we have been told is one of the best in West Cobb?

The citizens continously refuse to adequately fund the school construction needed to keep up with the growth. While some will argue that trailers are ok, Paulding county may soon have some kids who hardly ever go to school in an actual building.

Good choice, Wonderful area, the only thing you might regret is rush hour!
