Recently relocated to Atlanta and I love the views of the multiple skylines Atlanta has (Downtown, Buckhead, Midtown and I guess even part of Perimeter at certain angle). Are there any plans for more skyscrapers to be built in Atlanta? What is going on with the Trump Towers project? Also, I have to say that this is by far the friendliest city in the South. I am loving this city! It's awesome! I know a lot of people get on here and have negative comments about Atl but it truly is a great place to live and work. The energy of this city is unmatched anywhere in Southeast!

Glad you like it. There will surely be some new highrises built in the near future, but many of the announced projects from the last couple of years have become victims of the economy. Some of them are considered "on hold" until things improve, and hopefully those will still become a reality.

Thanks for the links, great pictures. Its amazing how fast the city has grown. In the last two years numerous high rises have gone up in Midtown alone (not just two or three but many). To name a few: The new Palomar Hotel, The 1010 midtown, Viewpoint, 12 & Midtown, Several at Atlantic Station, Luxe.

I've never been a fan of the multiple skylines. Hopefully the new skyscrapers will rise up in the gaps, merging the skyline.

The Midtown and Downtown skylines are connected already, but I seriously doubt that they will hook up with the Buckhead skyline anytime soon.

Wait until 1400 Peachtree (suppose to be the Empire State Building of Atlanta), Mandarian Oriental, 12th and midtown, Trump Tower, etc are built

Yeah, 1400 will be the next big "blockbuster" announcement, imo. This one is really flying under the radar.

I honestly don't think we'll ever see Trump get built, and I'm fine with that.
