No, only the northern 1/3 of Dunwoody falls within falls within Sandy Springs city limits (the pandhandle).

The other 2/3 of Dunwoody, the area from I-285 to the fulton county line (including the eastern half of Perimeter Center) is still unincorporated Dekalb County.

That whole place is confusing though, since within a tiny area you have three unique entities (Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, and Perimeter Center), and then the Fulton/Dekalb line screwing up everything further.

If Slushpuppie is talking about available class A office space, he is not that far off. It breaks down to something like 65% Sandy Springs and 35% Dunwoody.

Yes I'm quite aware that most of the office towers at Perimeter are on the Sandy Springs side.

However, all he said was "most of dunwoody is sandy springs"
How that relates to office space is beyond me. I didn't realize Dunwoody = Class A office space.

Dunwoody is the town at the intersection of Chamblee-Dunwoody Road and Mount Vernon Road and the surrounding residential area, the northern part of which falls within Sandy Springs city limits... Perimeter Center and its Class A office space is a completely seperate entity which just happens to be sandwiched between Dunwoody and Sandy Springs.

And I tried to make some sense out of what slushpuppie said ("most of dunwoody is sandy springs"). Notice I started my previous post with an "If"?? It is true that people who do not live in that area think the entire Perimeter Center is somehow Dunwoody and Dunwoody only. Not many people know the exact boundaries. Apparently what slushpuppie said did not sit well with you as all I did was to put some numbers behind what slushpuppie said.

Oh ok sorry for the misunderstanding and sorry if I sounded somehow tempermental it's not like I care I just don't want people to come and get wrong information.

And yeah I know there's a lot of people who think Perimeter Center = Dunwoody and recently I've been meeting a lot of people who think Perimeter Center = Sandy Springs and they don't really seem to know what Dunwoody is at all...

No worries GF72 - it is, after all, far fetched to think the percentage of office space is somehow correlated to the overall area Sandy Springs takes up in the Perimeter Center. I think I spent way too much time thinking about what Slushpuppie meant...
