It's currently March 29th and the low today was 41 degrees. That's was always bugged me about Atlanta weather, we go from extremely cold to extremely hot. I'll wake up in the near future to 90 degrees and not know where all those nice, mild spring days went.. because there so few and far between. I'm ready to move to Hawaii =)

ATLman, I agree with you! We've had exceptionally cold weather in February and March this year, it's true. But even in a more normal year, we usually go from running the furnace to running the air conditioner in our house, within two weeks - some years, within days. Many Atlanta lovers proudly boast of the beautiful springs and falls here. It's true that the weather is nicest here in spring and fall, but from the perspective of one accustomed to a much more northern clime, the Atlanta spring and fall are brief indeed.

I'm enjoying it. I suppose since I grew up in the north, this is mild (for me). There really aren't extremes in the weather here. Many parts of the country have single digits in the winter and 100 degree days in the summer.

There are parts of the West Coast where this is the norm nearly year round. Personally I don't like waking up to hot sticky weather. My idea place would be 65 degrees during the day and 45 at night.

A week from Thursday is the 1st round of the Masters. Everyone knows that the Dogwoods and Azalias would be in full bloom- I haven't seen a-one yet!
I guess they're pumping warm water through the irrigation system to force everything into bloom.

It's supposed to hit 80 by Friday. I'm sure "pollen green" will be the color of our world by next week.

This has been the coldest winter since I've lived here (Going on 7 years now).

Seems, we are going to have another rainy spring/summer, if the storms keep up like this...

I'm ready for some sustain warmth for the ladies

There's usually a cold snap around Easter too, but it's supposed to be in the 70s on Sunday. Thank God. I'm sick of paying Georgia Power out the wazoo.
