I love living in Gwinnett. However, I am sure that Cobb is wonderful.

Can't we all just get along?

And....I think I am classy. Thanks for that Neil.

Okay, you win.

Seriously, no, I've mainly driven through the county, but rarely spent any time there, but I'm over here on the west side of the metro and I've only been down here for five years. Sounds like I need to get out a little and explore.

Other than Medieval Times, though, the "way more" bit sounds like that Miami guy saying the Miami metro has way more people than Atlanta metro. What, like five?
Haha, I never said it was way better!

The location works better for me, as my and my partner's families are in NE Georgia. Once again, I like Cobb. I think that they have done a better job at managing growth. However, I do not think that Gwinnett should be written off as of yet. Yes we have more of a concrete jungle feel in places, however, commercial property helps to fill your revenue coffers!

You took my comments wrong and not as meant. I didn't mean the people of Gwinnett or Cobb. I meant that the look of the county is more classy in some ways...such as the trees in the medians and some of the neighborhoods. It was not a social comment.

I like Gwinnett, but there are things about Cobb that I like better. Gwinnett has grown so rapidly in the last 25 years, and it is truly is amazing to see the changes. Some for good, some for bad. It reminds me more of a rapid-growth county that I'd see in Texas or Florida. Cobb has undergone a lot of growth at the same time, but it feels more "Georgia" to me. It's hard to explain, but I like them both for good reasons.

No, you didn't, but the person I was responding to did.

From what I know they're both good places to live, at least in general.

I agree. Gwinnett seems to have changed in a way and to a degree Cobb did not. Suwanee becoming a 'hot' place to live is simply amazing. The old Gwinnetians though have been pushed out. The old time Cobb people don't seem to have been displaced in the same way.

Cherokee and Paulding counties have a lot of 'displaced' Cobb residents. Though you are right that the old-timer Cobb Countians are far higher in number.
