When I lived in Atlanta that was actually the only mall I would shop in. The crowd is very diverse but I never saw any problems.

It depends on perceptions and the time you go. Some times it does seem more "ghetto" then other times but it still is a classy mall. Security is well done and there are good stores there. Me thinks some people don't like some of the patrons there and the flashy cars out front and it seems "ghetto".

To me the mall has changed a lot, it was pretty bad, it got cleaned up and now it seems the gay community has really made it their hang out spot.

It is a very diverse mall which might make some uncomfortable but IMO its a great thing to see in Atlanta.

How in the world anybody could call a mall with Louis Vuitton, Bvlgari, Burberry, Neiman Marcus, etc. ghetto is beyond me. I've been to Lenox Square many times and have never noticed it being ghetto at all. Yeah, there's diversity but it's a mall in a metro area of 5+ million people. What do you expect?

To some folks, of any race, any place where a good number of young black kids hang out or shop is going to be considered ghetto no matter what.

Kids, no matter what race, like to hang out at malls for some reason. My theory is that there really isn't crap else for them to do in this city but that's another rant. I really don't go to Lenox often but I don't see all that many kids of any race just hanging out like I have at other malls when I do go there. They do a good job of keeping kids from congregating and that probably eases a lot of shoppers' minds. Adults are absolutely terrified of teenagers in America.

So, no. Lenox is about as far from ghetto as you can get. At least for modern, rational people.

I frequent Lenox and have had no issues with it being Getto, 1st off- Don't leave your purse laying around anywhere except your home, DUUU!!!! From what I have seen the security team at Lenox is one of the best around. I would consider it a very safe place to shop.

LETS SHIFT GEARS HERE! We know Lenox Mall is NOT a ghetto shopping center, But instead lets discuss what is coming and what store people would like to see at LSM. It doesnt have Everything! Its does have a lot, but still lacks some brands. I think its a sexy upscale spot, Ill be consuming a lot this holiday season. Got way more spending cash than I did in 2008...

Got up to get a napkin in the food court for maybe 20 seconds. Purse was hanging on the chair. Way to blame the victim as usual. We came from an area without a lot of thugs and you could actually leave your stuff unattended for twenty seconds with no worries.
