Thanks for the reply!

traffic isnt THAT bad unless its an accident

go to Georgia Navigator :: Traffic Maps (http://www.georgia-navigator.com/maps/atlanta - broken link) and look at the traffic map in the morning and in the afternoon and it will tell you how the traffic is at that moment.

ALRIGHT now we're getting somewhere!
So, realistically, Lilburn to Phipps in the morning would be.....

Is this East/Northeast Atlanta commute better than other areas?
Thanks!

Just make sure she doesnt get on 285 between 75 and 85. As long as she takes 85 she will be ok. Remember to look at that map in the morning so you can see real-time traffic

She could also drive to the Doraville Marta Station and take the train to Lenox Marta Station (Buckhead) daily as another option. It will only be four stops, she might as well drive in but.....

crap. $8/day. But I imagine it's more to park at Phipps Plaza.

The rail schedules are kinda hard to decipher but it looks like 6 - 1, half-dozen the other as far as time goes...unless there is a wreck on 85.

Parking is free. $8 is for long-term parking. Long-term is mostly for people who going to the airport and leaving their car at the station for a few days
