We are driving down from MD to GA tomorrow to find a home to rent. We are looking at a house off Tobacco Road and Windsor Spring in Hephzibah and I was wondering if you could tell me if this is a nice area. I've read many posts that say the main part of Hephzibah is around Hwy 88 and this is not in that main area.

Also, I love walking my dog and am concerned about the walkability of the neighborhood. I know Grovetown has nicer subdivisions and probably nicer neighborhoods for this kind of thing, but my husband is set on the Hephzibah side of Fort Gordon.

Thank you!

That area isn't terrific or bad and ranges from lower middle class to upper class.. The newer subdivisions around Willis Foreman rd tend to be alot nicer..

The area of Hephzibah within the city limits does have more quality neighborhoods to choose from(south of Willis Foreman rd)... The homes off Willis Foreman and inside of Diamond Lakes are not inside of the city, but still very nice..

Grovetown and Hephzibah are the opposite of each other... The most desirable part of Grovetown is located outside of the city, and the majority of desirable neighborhoods in Hephzibah are within the city limits. The newer subdivisions in Grovetown outside of the city limits are overall nicer compared to the area in your post... The nice subdivisions in Hephzibah however are just as nice or even nicer.. Due to Plant Vogtle being within close proximity several million dollar homes belong to engineers in Hephzibah..
