West Augusta would be a better choice over North Aug, and Grovetown. The area has more to offer than the other two listed.

Thanks in advance for your opinions and help.
I really don't think you can go wrong with any of those areas. I'd visit and see how you liked the feel of them before you put down money, but you can certainly get a nice home, new or used, for that price, and all the other criteria are also filled if you buy in the appropriate school district (not every single school in Columbia County/N. Augusta is stellar).

If you can afford it I suggest the hill area in west augusta. By far one of the best neighborhoods in the state of georgia. The neighborhood has the older historic mcmansions and homes. Augusta state which is a fast growing university. Campus is right in the middle of the area. Walkable and very nice overall in general. Bill gates has a home in the hill area. Off walton way

Blanchard and calhoun are building a new neighborhood on the hill. Those homes are going to sell very quicky. Since there's not much land to build on near the hill. And who wouldn't want a brand new home on the hill. It will be intresting to see if they're going to be in the 500k category. Or in the upper 1.3-1.5 million category like other homes on the hill.

Do you now the name of the neighborhood? I didn't know it was empty land on the hill to build anymore.
