Augusta Regional Airport officials released numbers today that show the facility has managed to increase the number of passengers for 24 straight months.

13.6 percent increase in enplanements, or originating passengers, in 2007. It also increased 2008, this time by 12.5 percent

Do you think we can support another airline? How about some more hotels/restaurants near or in the airport?

Don't think it can support another airline or hotels or much else. There is not much in that area.

I am frustrated flying out of Augusta. Last two time, US Airways canceled the flight and I either had to extend my travel day by about 8 hours (next flight was full and then the next flight in Charlotte was full) or drive to Charlotte. From now on, I'll make the drive to Charlotte or Atlanta. Much greater chance of getting out...

Not the Airports fault...Ok...That feels better now
