Lol most Hyatt hotels are in metros over 1 million people. Except for their brands Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Place. Augusta is only about 540,000. The one in Augusta, is looking like a Grand Hyatt. Similar to the one at Buckhead in Atlanta.

I think the agrument is to approve the TEE Center and get the hotel or dont approve the center and try to land the hotel without the center.

Yes and this has still not been resolved. Contact Commissioner Betty Beard and ask how she will vote on the TEE Center.

Really? According to today's paper.. the TEE Center vote was removed from today's commission business.. and today is the last day it could have been brought up before the Aug 31st Deadline for Hyatt. So it appears the Hyatt deal is dead unless they want to extend their contract again.

Sad, Sad, Sad, that we have inept city leaders. What is wrong with these people? What is going to happen to the money that they collected?----They could have approved the TEE and the Hyatt would have been a done deal. Not to mention the brand name might have encouraged more Masters fans to stay in the city instead of going elsewhere, thus increasing hotel tax revenue. To the person that stated that JBA was a white elephant---of course it is. Columbus has a better arena than ours. The JBA either needs to be demolished to make room for a new arena or it needs to be updated. Or else it's doomed to stay in a state of stagnation. If the commissioners can't get this one right please vote them out.

I cant read the future but it seems you all can. I dont think the situation is what it seems to be. Don is all for the TEE Center why would he take the talks off the agenda? Something is going to happen, maybe have anther offer form another chain.
