Oh, nortonguy, while I'm thinking about it, where is that building in that last photo you posted earlier, you said it's on 9th street, but where specifically? Last time I was on JB Blvd., it noticed crews working on a few bldgs. on the corner of Walker St. and JB Blvd. right across from the post office. One of the buildings used to be an old theatre (I remember reading an article about it, it's something like the first or oldest African American performing arts theater in the city or something). I was just wondering if you or anyone knew what was going on there.

The building is located btw Telfair street and Walton Way I believe. If you're coming from driving on Broad street. And you turn right on 9th street/JB Boulevard. The building is located right after you past the library construction.

Eastsidedave... The article you provided earlier. I don't think it's the same Emporium. According to Rex properties their Emporium is located on the Hill/Summerville.

The Emporium on Broad street is located downtown......

Hmmm, I noticed that too (especially since it said 'within walking distance to ASU'), but their map and the address they list for the property is:
1106 Broad St
Augusta, GA 30901
Which is exactly where the real Emporium Condos are, maybe they just totally screwed up their description? LOL!!!

They probably just accidentally merged the listings of two different properties, like they mistakenly put the description of another property on the Emporium page. That's likely what happened if I had to make a guess...

The Emporium on Broad and the building on 9th/JB Boulevard being renovated into upscale apts. Both are being designed by Capers and Associates. They help designed Enterprise Mill for Clay Boardman when he renovated the milll. So the condos & apartments should be very nice. Enterprise mill is beautiful......

How much do you think Emporium condos start at? The seem to be pretty uspcale. The whites building has condos for 300k. Port Royal has some condos for 400k. The Enclave on JB Boulevard has 300k townhomes.
