We are a family with 2 small children who are looking to relocate in Augusta area. Possibly Evans. We are not ready to buy another home right now. We want to rent a nice place until we feel a little more grounded. Any suggestions as to where to find a nice 3 or 4 bedroom rental house in a nice community. We are open to other areas than Evans...it just seems Evans is a popular place.

Craigslist has several listings for the Evans area. I have rented through meybohm and am unimpressed. You can't walk in and talk to anyone and if your owner is lax on repairs, like mine, meybohm will tell you there is nothing they can do. Always remember, they work for the owner. Just a heads up.

I just moved here and rented a home in Knob Hill. I wasn't impressed with Morgan Smith or Meybohm. I was lucky to be able to rent directly from the owner. I am very happy in Knob Hill..There seem to be quite a few rentals in this area.
