Ok, I need your help....we are trying to figure out where to move in the Austin area. I have heard that SW Austin is a great place for families (we have 13 year old and 10 year old). What about Buda and Kyle? I get confused when I look at the Austin map as to what is inside Austin and what is a city outside of Austin. What about Dripping Springs and BeeCave and Wimberly?

Any information would be great.

Thanks!!

All those are great places (imho), it just depends on what you are looking for. Buda and Kyle are still (for the most part) pretty rural. Dripping Springs and Bee Cave have some big neighborhoods and some rural areas. Wimberley is also still pretty rural. SW Austin is much more built up (very few big lots - 1 acre or above).

Default Hays County Schools

Any opinions on Hays County Schoold, Lehman High or Jack Hays High?
