BIMBO brand. That's a new one on me. We were at the grocery store and saw it. The other brand I've never seen before: FUD. Ugh, it doesn't sound good at all.

I saw the FUD name in the deli department on a hunk of meat at HEB and Walmart.

That bear on the Bimbo package looks an awful lot like the SnuggleSoft Bear - almost verging on infringement. This calls for a cage match.

Yeah, Bimbo is a huge Mexican bakery company. Didn't they buy Mrs. Baird's a few years ago when they were in financial trouble? I know Mrs Bairds is still around, but I think Bimbo is the parent company. I miss Mrs Bairds now that I live in OK. You can get it here, but its never as fresh and wonderful as it is in TX.

I grew up a short distance from the Baird's Bakery in Dallas at Mockingbird/Central. When the wind blew just right, that entire part of town smelled like fresh baked bread. One of my favorite memories.
