Huzzah! It's confirmed that Circle C Ranch Parkside Village is being built, with Alamo Drafthouse, and that ADC South is moving in!

Already knew about ADC (doctors there have been telling us for months it's happening), but still nice to have confirmation!

Woohoo!!!

Seriously, I may not have to go beyond 290 in the future if they keep building so many nice places here in SW Austin!

Eh, stopped going north of 290 a while back (but mainly because I am too lazy to drive anywhere).

Fantastic. This will be a nice addition to the area. It's about a 6 mile drive, but well worth it.

Best thing is ADC, if it goes through. ADC South is a bit far. And if they add more family practitioners, we can go there for our doctors as well, rather than ARC.

Wondering what restaurants/stores will open there, though... Hopefully they'll be kid friendly!

Yeah. I'm sure some of the naysayers on this board will be thrilled! It is going to be done by November, woot! Not too thrilled about ADC because there are too many medical places nearby, and I really would rather see more retail in the area. Anyway, yeah for the Drafthouse!

6 miles is not far at all. It seems like you think that is far. Don't people like to take a nice drive anymore? I guess 20 miles to you would be a roadtrip!

It is nice to see they are also planning two additional restaurants in that development.

Yes, this does boggle the mind, considering that I'm used to Texans that will take a day trip to Houston (or Fredericksburg) for lunch and shopping!

I think there is space for around 5 or 6 restaurants according to the Stratus website.

Tim League discusses the details on the new "Parkside Alamo Drafthouse" near Circle C. Supposedly going to be the best Drafthouse yet:
