I am confused then. Why are you asking about inter racial dating, and not just dating in general?

Fort Lauderdale looks very favorable for women.

Because even if you tell me that the dating scene in general is good, I wouldn't move to Austin if there is an issue particularly with interracial dating (Hispanic/Caucasian). I have never been to Texas, so I'd like to know several opinions before I pick a city. I went to Denver last week, and in the 5 days that I was there, I didn't see more than 6 interracial couples. I'm not saying is because they are racist (I didn't sense that), because most people I saw were white, at least 8 out of 10 people I saw. I visited Downtown Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs. Maybe interracial dating there is more common than I think it is, I'm just telling you what I saw, based on the places I visited. I'm sure there are more Hispanics there, according to the Census. I have never seen so many Caucasians in one city, and I've been to NYC, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Atlanta, and New Orleans besides other cities in Florida.

Hi CptnRn, thanks for your reply. What is the source of these last charts you posted? And, in what year was the data collected?

Let's assume the info on the charts is correct and updated; it's not all about the numbers. From all the single men available here, you have to deduct the following:
1. Gay: There are too many gay men here; definitely not favorable for women.
2. Bisexuals in the closet: According to male gay friends, there are many of those down here. I suspect I dated a couple of them, ha, ha.
3. 40-60 year old successful men who date women 10-20 years younger.
4. Mentally unstable. Many of them are verbally and/or physically abusive.
5. Alcoholics, drug addicts.
6. Serial daters who change women every 2-3 weeks or the ones who alternate between 2 or 3 women at the same time.
7. Men who spend years in a relationship but don't commit/get married.

It's my experience and the experience of most women over 30 who are dating in this area. After you do the math, there aren't enough prospects for a good husband (ages 35-50). Of course I know every city have their own issues...

I think you will probably find these issues anywhere. If you move to get away from this you will probably be disappoint. Your best bet is to change the way you look for a partner.

Like I mentioned before, I know every city has their own issues. As long as interracial dating is not an issue, I can deal with all the other obstacles there may be. About changing the way I look for a partner; say that to the thousands of single women over 30 down here, I'm sure they'd give u a piece of their mind, ha ha. The only thing I haven't seen is women knocking on men's doors. I've seen all kinds of tactics to meet and keep a man. I've grown from past experiences, now more than ever I know what I want and what I won't put up with. I have patience, pride and self-respect; I'll wait until I meet the right person and won't rush just because my clock is ticking.
