What would you recommend as to a pub or restaurant where they would carry the largest selection of Texas beers on tap?

BJ's Brewhouse

NorthbyNorthwest

...maybe.

They're both chains, so don't know if they would have an extensive selection of Texas beer.

The Draught House & Flying Saucer also have lots of draft options and Uncle Billys and NXNW brews their own beers. Grab a St. Arnolds Summer Pilz if you can find one, its my favorite of their seasonal brews and available now.

Opal Devine's and other places have Live Oak (local beer only available on tap)... Live Oak Brewing Company - Austin, Texas The brewer, Chip, was a regular at the 6th street location. Don't know if he still hangs out there.

I was told by the Live Oak brewers last year that they were making plans to open a bottling plant. Don't know if that is still in the works.

They make great beer, their Hefeweizen is phenomenal. Uses same yeast as Wehenstephaner and tastes similar.

Did not know that... thanks. He makes some awesome beer. I've always been a fan of both the Live Oak Pilz and Hefeweizen.

The Uncle Billy's at the new Oasis complex doesn't brew there, do they?
