Thank you all so much for your information. Yes he knows Houston is where it's at for the rap scene but for some reason he wants to live in Austin. He has heard it is an awesome city. He will spend some time in Houston as well. He left tonight so he is on his way. Will probably stay a few days on West Coast of Fla. then head in. So if you meet Matt known as Kirbykerb I hope you will welcome him. I just worry about the old car he is taking and that he makes it safely. Sounds like I also, will be visiting Austin soon. Funny thing is we are going skiing to Colorado and have a layover in Houston. He wants to try to see us there and maybe stop on way back in Austin. That is to be seen but I could not stop him and he is headed there. I appreciate very much all the kind replies.

Austin is a great city. Lots of people move here without a job and do just fine in the long run. Definitely not going to be easy to forge a rap career here, but there are a ton of musicians around.
