Living in an apartment now in Cedar Park and like the area, but apartment living is a bit too loud for me. Have been searching the internet and did talk to a realtor but there seems to be few condos here.
Anyone familiar with the area have any leads.

There's really not a lot of Condos in CP at all. You might want to look South into the "North-north Austin" area as well. Parmer Village, Some parts of Avery Ranch, etc. might work for you.

I have a friend who has a condo over by Lakeline in Cedar Park. She likes it. Not sure of the complex, but I suppose if you can get close to the Lakeline transit station (metrorail), that would be good.

However, don't buy a condo in CP expecting good resale value. In fact, if you do buy, keep that in mind and offer low accordingly. They will take it. Condos in areas where 99% of the residents want single family homes, and those homes can be found for cheap, will not appreciate in value. If you are buying there, buy simply because you don't want to rent and don't want home maintenance.

You are right, don't want yard work or rent. Thanks for the advise on North Austin, but kind of wanted to stay out of Travis. Did look at some new ones on Avery Ranch but they were over $200,000 and didn't really like the floor plans.

Just so you'll know, all of Avery Ranch is in Williamson Co. A fair bit 'down' Parmer is Williamson(below 620 for a ways).

The Lakeline / Lake Creek area is all Williamson County. It becomes Travis on the other side of 183. Check zip code 78729 in your search.

I can only think of the Cypress Creek/Lakeline area townhomes that are in the $160Ks normally, but are really nice. If you're looking for something a bit cheaper, I would look over in West Round Rock which is still fairly close to Cedar Park and West of I35. Cat Hollow or Woods at Great Oaks both have nice resale townhomes in the $130Ks. Actually, the Woods at Great Oaks have some that dip to $129K. Search in 78681 using Austinhomesearch.

I believe there's some condos in Anderson Mill. Travis County starts somewhere around there, but I believe it starts SW of Anderson Mill RD as I was in Wilco when I lived in that neighborhood.
