What I am trying to say is, does the job market offer sales positions or is everything positioned for engineering jobs ???

We saw plenty of "help wanted" signs all over the malls last time we were there. I suspect you may not mean that sort of sales job though.

Naaa....I meant more professional positions. Financial sales / outside sales / B2B sales etc.............

Realize you'll be underpaid relative to the market and competing with 10,000 fresh UT grads looking to stay in Austin.

Yes, as a rule. Especially for entry-level work of all kinds and jobs where UT connections/network is important and the number of new grads is high (accounting, marketing, law, architecture, arts)

Fresh college grad of Business admin'. got 1-2 years of some sales experience prior to graduating.

Selling what? If you have any engineering/technical experience an FAE job might be a better option.
