I been shooting with a Panasonic FX50, but decided to join the dark side and got a Dslr. So I been working crazy to figure out all the functions on it (it's a lot to know). Well more pics soon to come
I want to start shooting with film again because I have an amazing 1950s Voigtlander that my Dad gave to me. He bought it back in Germany when he was a young guy in the Army. Used it to take all of these great pics with his buddies when he was in Amsterdam (before my mom of course) It's such a thing of Teutonic craftsmanship, I just gotta use it. I'll need to spend a bit of $$$ to get it cleaned first...and then of course the film and development. Quite an expensive hobby

I have to say Austin has by far the cleanest alley I've ever seen.
It's true! My husband and I have commented on this exact thing - coming from the DC area originally...it's so odd (and great!)!

The best time to visit is in the Spring when the bluebonnets and indian paintbrushes are in full bloom!
