I'm not sure if this flouts the rules of the forum, but hey, there's no harm in trying. I'm looking for the inside track on "secret" swimming holes, that y'all keep to yourselves. I don't mind travelling a tad if its a ways out of town. DM with me any suggestions; I PROMISE that I won't pass them on. Crikey, I feel kind of subversive. Must be getting Austinised!

The best ones are far from Austin off the beaten path. They are pristine and cherished by those that frequent them and rarely blabbed about

I have two places that I cherish..I found them while taking a Sunday drive "out in the country". Sorry but I won't give them up but I will tell you they do exist.

I hope you will understand how I feel about not telling you when you find your "secret spot".

Happy Texan,

Understand perfectly, I wouldn't either! But you can't blame a chap for trying!

Mike,

That's why I asked for DM replies! I'm not a complete muppet!

Ttfn.

Default I might indeed be a complete muppet

Mike,

OK, maybe I'm am a complete muppet! I'm SSC and Bitchen is the trouble and strife. It depends who logged on last and at what computer as to whose user name comes up, and I tend not to check.

Thanks for the Hamilton Pool tip, that is already on the agenda for the school holidays.

Ttfn.
