This is going to be big for North Austin. Just that Parmer Ln needs to accommodate more traffic now. Hope the city sorts out the traffic issues before the campus is full blown established. But its a great thing for North Austin. More high paying jobs. Glad that they didn't kick off a rat race between cities unlike Amazon.

"Apple’s newest Austin campus will be located less than a mile from its existing facilities. The 133-acre campus will initially accommodate 5,000 additional employees, with the capacity to grow to 15,000, and is expected to make Apple the largest private employer in Austin."

It says the location is within 1 mile of the existing Parmer campus and it would be in Williamson county. Only swath of land that big to accommodate this would be Robinson ranch. They say its going to be 133 acres and Robinson ranch fits that criterion.

I’m just glad it’s North Austin and not in my neck of the woods! It’s going to be a cluster up there.

Parmer Lane and Dallas Drive.
Right behind the (former) Freescale campus, between there and McNeil High School.

I admit feeling the same. Happy for the economic stability that it will provide, but even happier that my little corner of SW Austin can’t support that kind of commercial growth, and has remained semi-rural.

This is less than a mile from my house, and is going to create a MASSIVE clusterfsck on Parmer. Parmer is already virtually impassable during rush hour with all the Avery Ranchers using it to head to their neck of the woods. They are going to need to make Parmer an actual highway like 183.

It will be good for property values, though I want to sell our house in 2019 .
